Welcome to Gan Chaverim!

Dear Gan Chaverim Parents,

          We hope that you had a wonderful summer!

          We are so excited to welcome both you and your child to our classroom, Gan Chaverim.  Kindergarten is a time of beginnings, of making new friends and learning a lot of new things every day.  In Gan Chaverim, we love to embark on many exciting adventures so that the children can learn in a very "hands on" manner.  In the past, we've used our imagination to journey into outer space and transformed our classroom into a working hospital to learn about our bodies. Through these units we were able to incorporate our math, reading and writing skills in a fun and natural way. We look forward to many adventures this year as well.  Maybe we will have some of the same ones or maybe your children will come up with some new and exciting ones!

          We wanted to send you an email introducing ourselves and letting you know that we will be calling each of you personally before school starts. We have also sent a letter to each of the children, so don't forget to check your mail.  We are looking forward to an amazing year with many exciting activities!

           Good communication sets the stage for a successful partnership.
